We did for 6 years and if it was solely my decision it would be indefinite

We never sold our home though and I think that’s the bigger decision.

We have been fulltime since '06 are still happy with our decision to do so and have no inkling of coming off the road in the near future.
The main thing is you have to give each other space when as we call it "living in each other's pocket" 24/7. We have seen many couples who thought they could do it but it didn't work.
You'd be surprised how many couples are out there and still very happy at the decision they have made. The oldest couple we have meet were 91 & 89 still as happy as the day they started. He said the only way he was coming off the road was in a pine box, didn't want to watch 4 walls and wait to die.

My wife and I and our kelpie have just spent the past 6 years travelling full time in our 20 footer. Without doubt it would have to be the most comfortable van you can get to live in. It towed exceptionally well, never leaked in even the most severe weather and had very few problems. It handled rough roads and tracks with ease, never ever letting in dust.

We sold up to start travelling as we had a bad experience previously renting out our house. As a result I would never trust another agent again as it’s “all care and no responsibility”. In reality though the care factor is debatable.

Apart from the quality and reliability, the great thing about owning a Bushtracker is the support you get from the factory and the amount of information available on this forum. If you are seriously considering hitting the road full time, do it in a Bushtracker.
