Hello Friends,
Steven Gibbs here, Director, Bushtracker

My apologies, in that many are disappointed about how far we are booked out..
Not only for Production, but many are disappointed in that we are pretty far booked out for renovations and insurance work as well. Rolling Eyes
I understand, my apologies and we are doing something about it..

We have just bought out the Business across the street. I have been interested for years, and we have finally come to terms. We will move Insurance work over there, this should allow for three bays of Insurance work, and one or two bays for Service work... Then we will have hardstand out front for a Bushtracker Sales lot... Maybe six or eight Bushtrackers there on display for immediate Delivery.. This will increase our operational area to about 5500 square meters.

Now you should already know that "Miracles are performed daily, and the IMPOSSIBLE takes overnight"... heh he .... We should be setting up a full operation in February and possibly start moving forward with rescheduling Insurance work in March.. This will also help to free up a solid four or five bays in the old Factory to increase Production. Hiring and training up new Staff to our quality level takes time, but I would like to think optimistically that we should be able to start gaining on our Schedule by mid year... Hope for the future...

Kind regards, Director, Bushtracker

A note that might help some of you on the phone.....

If we answer the phone, I have instructed the Staff to ask if they can help you rather than have someone running to answer the phone. If I myself ask you: "Sorry, can I ask you what it is about" or "regarding?" The reason is that I have almost all the Office Staff on radios now. About 75% of the time it is a simple question that I can relay to them via the UHF and get an answer...They are not always in their office places to just transfer the phone, they are out on the Factory floor.

We have expanded to the property next door, and now across the street, and it is not always practical or possible for people to come running to the phone.. So if I say "Can I as what this is regarding" this is why, don't take it personal, this is about efficiency. Usually I can answer it, I can help you, or I can get an answer over the UHFs while you are on the phone. We are just getting too big to have people come running for a simple phone call all the time, if we can avoid it. So, don't take it personal. Wink

My Office Staff are very good, and taking over a lot of the load...
Not only that, but we are pretty much recognized Australia wide, for the highest quality Off-Road van. It is no longer an uphill battle to educate people about the higher quality construction methods we use, we now have People telling us we are absolutely the best. The other so called Off-Road Builders quality has unraveled in their faces so to speak, and we get conversions from all those other "Look the Part" vans that copy our style. Their stories told out there, have dramatically turned the tide in our favor. It is now self evident, that just looking like a Bushtracker, does NOT make them a Bushtracker. Some out there that brag that they are as good as Bushtracker and $20,000 cheaper, would only be good value if they cut the price of their vans in half.. Laughing Even then, I think if you are really going to travel we are the best value for the money..

It is my pleasure now to slow down a little bit and I really do enjoy helping you Bushtracker Owners smooth out a few of the potholes in your travels with good advice on maintenance or upgrades. What ever you need: Feel free to call or continue sending emails, I am here to help.

That Service and this Forum, is my way of returning something to the greater Bushtracker Community. Wink

Kind regards, Steven Gibbs, Director

Well our Service Center is starting to happen...

I am hoping after we are in full swing, pallet racking in, surveillance cameras in and all, I am hoping to start pulling the Insurance and Renovation work forward in our schedule ...

Looks good with three vans on one side, four bays under roof, and the whole other side, we have room to breath a little now..

Our Insurance and Renovations building is now up and running...

As well we have a Sales Lot in the front, for finished vans if you cannot wait to have a Custom one built...

It is just across the street from our other three buildings, but please check into the office first. For Insurance reasons you have to escorted over there...

It is all happening!! Smile

Signs are up, and we have two Insurance and Renovation Crews going in the new property we have expanded into. Now 5500+ Metres.. Wink

There will be 4-6 vans in Sales Yard in front, and we have room inside for three vans in repairs and renovations, plus one more undercover on the side.

This should start to pull the Insurance work forward. Also, there will usually be several Show Vans parked in front to see on Tour, as well as the 20 in process in the three other Sheds. Mind you, some of the Show vans leave tomorrow for the Sydney Show, but there will still be plenty to see here..

This four bay Shed will now be our Insurance and Renovation building...

BT, are the small number of For Sale Vans that will be "out front" usually listed under New Vans For Sale on the website?

Yes, we actually have six Show Vans now, seven with mine that is not really for sale as yet.. For the most part they will be in the Category of New Bushtrackers for sale.

However, there are more coming through the system, and there could be gaps of a finished van that we have not gotten pictures...

It is looking a bit skinny new as three are on the way to the Sydney Show, but there is still plenty to see here...

Best regards, stg

Hi Steve
Can you give an indication of current and average production times for 20' caravan please, once order is placed.
This will help us plan ahead.
Thanks,

It varies all the time, and there are slots kept open for Display vans.. It depends on what size, and how soon you want it.

Right now there is a 20' in our most popular layout that is at a really good price, see it in the Category on New Bushtrackers For Sale on this Forum.

Please send all Private Business to sales@bushtracker.com
