Yes they are legal mine were put on at time of manufacture by BT.

I have had the spacers on my van since 2005
not a problem, because of wanting to have all
tyres and rims interchangeable as yourself.

Rob if you have a look at the specs for the 2019 / 3500 new motor Better
HP and Torque you shouldn't have to worry about the lower ratio diff.

Depends on what battery system you are having put in your van. I originally had Xantrex 1800w, recently replaced with ePower 1120x, 2000w,IMHO find it to be a better unit.
