Hi Guys,

We are about to take delivery of our new 200 series in early july.
I am shopping for a hayman reese WDH.
We are towing 16 ft 2017 build bushtracker 300-320kg ball weight
We are getting a 50mm rear lift with our Kings pre-rego GVM upgrade.
Also installing rear airbags.

Questions I have are:
-Should I be going for the classic or standard?
-DO35 Hitch on top or below?
-Standard 60mm shank usually ok?

Thanks.
James

On top.

The hitch point on the LC200 is relatively high. I used the 150mm drop.

If you put the DO35 on top you will have easy access to the grease nipple and to cleaning the hitch.

Putting it on top means you MUST use the Standard bars. The bars on the other model will not pass under and clear the chassis rails with the hitch on top.

James as long as you have kept the factory informed of your vehicle choice they can supply the correct gear for your new van. The handover day they will setup your combination as they have stock of WDH kits.

Thank you 3-Ways,

But he already has his Bushtracker in Adelaide... Just changing vehicles...

James, I answered you by email.
This is personal Business, and people will not know your personal details, changing from the Disco to a 200 Series and you being 3000 kms away from Bushtracker.

General information is good here, for others benefit. However: Please send Personal Business to sales@bushtracker.com as without the background it might just confuse People here...

I answered:
Hello James,

You want the 800 lb with the drop bars, they go down 6” into a 90 degree. This allows the hitch to be on top so you service it easily.. And you want the hitch adjusted to be down sort of 50 -60 mm in the front, back to front drop of say 60mm on the van....

Kind regards,
Steven Gibbs
