We are in need of some door shelves for our 2004 Coolmatic 190L fridge. Unfortunately we are unable to find any supplier. Would anyone on here happen to have any around after maybe replacing their fridge.

I cant help, I can only sympathise with you. I managed to get the last door shelves in the country a while back. Even then, one of the shelves was improperly packed and was damaged in transit.

Soooo frustrating !!!!!

I have repaired three - yes 3 - shelves now as thankfully my back ground of Tech Studies (Manual Arts to some) Teaching has given me quite a basic understanding of various plastics etc. and how to repair same. Two shelves simply broke, so with diligent use of a plastic 300mm school rule from a newsagent with contact glue a re-enforcement beam laminar was attached and has held for several years now along with white PVC angle edging.
Last one was march 2020 AND then the little lug on the door body sheared off, so careful gluing and matching of the jagged edges as re-enforcement "dowels" has kept the lug on and holding weight so far. What a shame that such a great fridge is rendered useless to some due to lack of spares.

Hello Mobi !

Look, unfortunately the Manufacturer of that Fridge box for three different fridge Companies went under during the LAST financial crisis.

You have little hope of finding those shelves anywhere....

Kind regards, Steven Gibbs, Director

Just hazarding an idle guess here - could not one just manufacture to suit from a suitable thickness sheet of either PMMA or polycarbonate ? PMMA is easy enough to form and, from what I can garner from the net, poly is reasonably so.

That’s what I did to replace a cracked shelf over the crisper, some thick polycarbonate that I trimmed the edges to fit the slides.

Thanks Steve,
Yes facts if life in our current world.
That's why I have repaired them and whilst it is a little unsightly etc. we have ALL three repairs holding thus far and as mentioned in an earlier thread some where else on this forum, I even had Atlanta Refrigeration replace our compressor etc. as there was no suitable fridge replacement to fit into the cabinet space as neatly as your product fits the 190.
The Tech guy at Atlanta said that it seems to be the same all over - a VERY good product never gets to be on the market for too long before lesser stuff is put in it's place.
Hopefully we get another 15 years out of the lovely fridge you originally installed in our BT.

Thanks for the responses. Looks like i have to look for other ideas. Have found some wire spice racks at Bunnings that are almost the right size. Now to work out how to anchor onto the door.
