Not sure what you mean Peter, on mine the door and the screen are all held by the same hinge.

Sorry if I have it all wrong. Mine is a 2008 model

The door and the screen are held closed together by the door catch. I have replaced mine and it all worked out fine but need to follow instructions exactly.

Maybe this is what you are referring to

Peter,

RE: the hinge that locks the exterior door onto the screen door .

The screen door is held locked in by a 3 pin locking mechanism which is embedded into the aluminium frame of the internal door and that 3 point locking is activated when you turn your door handle upwards to release the fly-wire outer door.

So not sure what model/year BT door you have.
The same principle as home security doors with triple locking mechanism.

Maybe you can drop a picture on this site so it can assessed further.

Regards,
Dave

Yea,
Useless without telling us the age of the Bushtracker...

Note: Owners, every question Post should put in the age and size of the Bushtracker.

In this case, we would no doubt have the parts, call us at Bushtracker from Monday..

Kind regards, Steven Gibbs, Director

Most van accessory shops should have the clips, they are in the camec catalogue, you can order on line or over phone, and they will post. Should be available in Adelaide for sure.. I bought mine from my local van/camping accessory shop.

The actual part that Peter was after and got for $4 each is called the Catch Pin:
