You could always break down and call Bushtracker...
Is it the hose drain from the high pressure relief valve?? If you have used it, (you should never) it can start leaking and will have to be replaced...
It is not meant to use manually as a relief valve, only high pressure safety. If you use it, half the time it starts leaking, and will erode the seat and have to be replaced...
It is not an expensive valve, your residual on your Insurance Policy would probably be ten times the cost of the fix.. Try Coast to Coast with the Serial Number and make of the water heater..
Kind regards, Steven Gibbs, Director |

Thanks Steve, I seem to have the operating instruction manual for a Suburban water heater when in fact the heater installed on my van is a Truma Ultra Rapid 14L! Could it be the same issue on the Truma as you've described for the Suburban heater Regards Peter Leahy |

Hi Peter,
Not sure what you mean by the “yellow water pipe” as my TRUMA Gas HWS model B14, does not have a yellow pipe (has a yellow drain lever for emptying the HWS) but I found this in my manual which may be of interest to you.
This issue seems to indicate that one would be connected to mains water pressure which could be too high:
Water drips from the P&T safety valve.
– Water pressure to high. – Lime or dirt under the P&T safety valve seat.
Check water pressure (max. 400 kPa), use a pressure reducer when connected to central water supply.
Btw, where exactly is the water dripping from as it may be seeping down that yellow pipe higher up?
All the best.
